1/220 River Queen Tow Boat - Z Scale

Bring the hardworking world of America’s inland waterways to your collection with the Atlantis Models River Queen Tow Boat Plastic Model Kit.

Built in 1:220 scale (Z scale), the River Queen captures the classic appearance of the powerful towboats that have spent generations moving barges and cargo along the Mississippi River and other major American waterways.

Unlike traditional tugboats that pull vessels behind them, river towboats - also known as pusher tugs - are designed to push groups of barges carrying grain, coal, fuel and other important cargo. Their distinctive shape and elevated wheelhouse make them an instantly recognizable part of America’s river transportation history.

The River Queen is a great addition to a Z scale model railroad layout, waterfront diorama, harbor scene, river display or model ship collection. Its compact size also makes it a fun project when you want an interesting maritime model that does not require a large display area.
