1/144 Apollo 11 Saturn V Rocket 50th Anniversary Moon Landing 1969-2019

On July 16, 1969 at 9:32 a.m., the gigantic Saturn V from Cape Canaveral took off, the most important journey in human history. The giant Saturn V consisted of three main stages, was 110 m high and weighed 3,000 tons. It was able to carry a payload of 50 t and reached a speed of 11.2 km / second. The 394,000 km journey to the moon took 72 hours. After reaching a low earth orbit, the upper assembly with the Apollo capsule received the thrust from the third stage of the launch vehicle to reach the flight speed to the moon. Later, the Apollo assembly detached from the rocket, spun, and pulled the lunar module out of its protective case. Coupled like this, this unit came to the moon and swung into a lunar orbit. After a few lunar orbits, the lunar module separated with the astronauts N. Armstrong and E. Aldrin on board from the command capsule in which only the astronaut M. Collins remained. The lunar module started with two firings of the retro motor for landing in the calm sea. This historical event will remain unforgettable forever.
